Vancouver General Hospital (VGH) Emergency Department sees over 90 000 patients per year and houses a Level 1 Trauma Centre. VGH is a 955 bed adult tertiary care hospital focusing on tertiary, trauma, and neurological care. It is located 5 minutes from downtown Vancouver.
All of our emergency physicians are FRCP-EM trained. Our group is highly collegial and supports strong research and academic educational programs. Both FRCPC and CCFP (EM) residents are trained within our regional Emergency Departments. Our members pursue a variety of outside activities both medical and non-medical.
