Join the conversation on innovation

On November 2, 2019, clinicians as well as health care students, policy-makers, and administrators will gather at Vancouver General Hospital (VGH) for TEC Vancouver: a one-day conference by clinicians for clinicians. A joint-collaboration by the UBC Faculty of Medicine Department of Emergency Medicine, Vancouver Coastal Health, the Department of Emergency Medicine at VGH, and the VGH and UBC Hospital Foundations, the event aims to bring health professionals, health organizational and industry leaders together to discuss the application of digital technologies to solve real life challenges.

“This is a great opportunity for health care professionals around the organization to hear about how technology is being applied in our everyday work,” says emergency physician Dr. Kendall Ho. “To be able to network with like-minded colleagues not only from VCH but other health authorities to generate ideas and generate dialogue is a great way for us to find new solutions and approaches to delivering health care in both primary and acute care settings.”
